Training for Competitive Bowlers

Bowls- A Sport for Life – long-term athlete development program by Bowls Canada Boulingrin (BCB)
  • Train to Play  (T2P) - Club competitor
  • Learn to Compete  (L2C) - Provincial competitor
  • Train to Compete  (T2C) - National competitor
Train to Play
T2P is designed to bridge the gap between basic technical knowledge and the ability to compete effectively in club or regional games.
Its purpose is to help a developing bowler become a competent player who understands the flow of the game and can execute a variety of shots under pressure.
Key focus areas include:
Consistency, tactical awareness, shot versatility, and etiquette & rules.
By the end of the program, a player should feel confident joining a club league, participating in tournaments, and understanding their role within a team. (e.g., as a Lead or a Second in Triples/Fours).
Tuesday May 19th 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. (please arrive at 6:15)
Tuesday May 26th 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. (please arrive at 6:15)
Tuesday June 2nd  6:30 - 8:00 p.m. (please arrive at 6:15)
