Looking for a fun, welcoming sport to try this summer? Lawn bowls at the Wanderers Lawn Bowling Club is a great way for youth to get active, build confidence, and make new friends in a relaxed and supportive environment. Easy to learn but full of strategy, lawn bowls offers something for all skill levels- whether they’re picking up a bowl for the first time or looking to sharpen their competitive edge.
With friendly coaches and a strong community atmosphere, it’s the perfect place for young players to get involved and discover a sport they can enjoy for life.


Wanderers Lawn Bowling Club Youth Program
When: TBD (Depending on interest)
What: Youth Bowlers get the opportunity for instruction from our great group of coaches to improve their skills as well as competition with their peers. 
Fee - Youth Membership at Wanderers is $50 per person. It is great value for a whole season of fun!
Membership fees for Youth Bowlers is $50 per member.

2026 Provincial Youth Singles Championship
Date - July 4-5, 2026
​Host Club - Wanderers LBC

Format of Provincial Junior Championship- Singles Play (Two 7-End Sets with a 3-end tiebreaker if necessary)
Entry Fee - $25 per player
Winners may qualify for Canadian Youth Championship
Winners do not have to attend the Nationals if they win Provincials.
Canadian Youth Championship (Under-18 Singles, Under-25 Singles and Junior Pairs)
Date: August 10-15, 2026
Host Club: Hanover Lawn Bowls Club (Ontario)

About our Club

The Wanderers Lawn Bowling Club has been an active part of the Halifax community for over 130 years. Calling the Wanderers Grounds in Downtown Halifax Home, the club has over 200 members of all ages and abilities (the largest lawn bowls club in Nova Scotia) who can take advantage of many of our bowling opportunities (both daytime and evening) along with our clubhouse facilities throughout the summer! Come and give lawn bowling a try! It’s affordable, easy to learn and a lot of fun!
