Wanderers LBC named host of 2023 Canadian Mixed Pairs

Christmas has come early for Wanderers. We're excited to announce that Bowls Canada Boulingrin has awarded our club the opportunity to host the 2023 Canadian Mixed Pairs Championship (taking place September 12-16, 2023)!
As many of you may know, we were scheduled to host this event in 2020 before the pandemic hit- so we are honoured to have the opportunity to welcome back bowlers from across the country back to the historic Wanderers Grounds.
Stay tuned for more details as we look forward to making this championship the best it possibly can be!

I have heard that your club has members that are still school age and university students? I am a member of a club on. Vancouver island and very interested in recruit and retention methods, if any one from your club could shed any light on this subject would appreciate a reply. Thank you

About our Club

The Wanderers Lawn Bowls Club has been an active part of the Halifax community for over 130 years. Calling the Wanderers Grounds in Downtown Halifax Home, the club has over 200 members of all ages and abilities (the largest lawn bowls club in Nova Scotia) who can take advantage of many of our bowling opportunities (both daytime and evening) along with our clubhouse facilities throughout the summer! Come and give lawn bowling a try! It’s affordable, easy to learn and a lot of fun!
